This week Hennessy Cognac, organizers of Nigeria’s foremost innovative musical platform – Hennessy Artistry – announced that hip-hop heavyweights M.I and Naeto C will headline the sixth edition of the yearly music project.

Video Premiere of Okyeame Kwame's “Mr. Versatile”

The Rap Doctor, Okyeame Kwame will be releasing his new video titled “Mr. Versatile” at the Aphrodisiac Night Club, Kumasi on Saturday July 28, 2012. 

 Guest artistes to support Okyeame Kwame in Kumasi with great performances on the evening include; Richie, Bradez, Zigi, D3, Afriyie of Wutah fame among other Kumasi based artistes.


 There will also be a free Hepatitis B screening in Kumasi earlier on the day, Saturday July 28 at Kumasi Suame Magazine St. Jones Park. Don't miss out on the premiere as it promises to be an evening worth remembering.

The singer,who has favored soft waves in recent times, debuted her newly plaited light locks while on a shopping trip to Bergdorf Goodman in Manhattan with baby Blue Ivy today.The 30-year-old single ladies singer who was dressed in a patterned playsuit from her own House Of Dereon line, twisted her tresses into a big bun on top of her head and finished off her look with big hoop earrings.She had daughter Blue Ivy cradled in her arms during the outing and the six-month-old has quite the head of hair too. i think Ivy hates sandals. Ghana's sensational artiste and this year's winner of the black entertainment television award for best international act Sarkodie, has been prep to perform in the grande finale of the Big Brother Africa Stargame reality show on august 5. 

The Azonto fiesta songster , will be performing on the finale night of the 91-day reality show when the winner of the show’s seventh season will be announced.Ghana was represented by comedian Derick Kobina Boney (DKB), musician Mildred known on stage as Eazzy, and Keitta, model and brother of hiplife grandpapa, Reggie Rockstone.

Ghana's beautiful and talented Leonora Okine of 2006 Sparrow production's 'different shades of blue' actress has joined the cast of Nigeria's longest running television series "Tinsel".  Ivory Coast and Chelsea FC forward Didier Drogba finally drops down Chinese Club. Shanghai Shenhua FC today July 14h. Didier Drogba will be receiving an amount of $300,000 per-week.

The picture above shows Drogba with the club president at a press conference in Shanghai earlier today.

He said "Moving to China to join Shanghai Shenhua was about the challenge, not the money".

According to the US Magazine, Kanye West never wanted to be disturbed by technology and did not bother to get a cell phone until now, Because kim was frustrated calling his body guard just to get to him.

News: P-Square's Mother - Dead

P-square's mother Mrs Okoye was reported dead on Wednesday night 11th 2012 in a Hospital in India where she was flown to for medical treatment.
The cause for her sickness has not been disclosed yet.
No words yet from Peter, Paul, jude and her child Ajeh.
Alot of people are wondering what might have happened or caused the death of P-Squares Mum.

During the Sickness she was taken to St. Nicholas Hospital, one of the most expensive medical centres in Nigeria. Which was not able to reach her sickness demand and was later flown to India for further treatment. Unfortunately, she died while responding to treatment.

Since the news broke , friends and colleges have been sending condolence messages to P-Square family.
Late Mrs Okeye was known to be the pillar of strength to her children. Her last public appearance was at the P-Square Invasion concert in August 2011.

Hollywood's Scarlett Johansson To become Highest Paid Actress - The Avengers

27 years old Scarlett Johansson, was reported to be offered $20 million to reprice her role as Natasha Romanoff in Avengers 2. No other actress in Hollywood has been paid that much for a movie role. The closest is Angelina Jolie who got about $18 million for her role in The Tourist, back in 2010.

Footballer Seydou Keita Leaves Barcalona To Chiniese Club

Barcelona Midfielder Seydou Keita Signed a 2.5year  deal with Chiniese Football Club "Dalian Aerbin". According to the report, he would earn about €15million in the deal.
I think now is the time for them to earn more and quit the big clubs, because there retirement age is on the way, just like Eto, Anelka who also found their way to the Arab clubs.  It a good choice though!

Footballer Mario Balotelli Expecting A Baby With His Ex-Girlfriend Raffaella Fico

Manchester City Striker Mario Balotelli is expecting a baby with his 24 year old ex-girlfriend Raffaella Fico who is a model. She revealed that she found out she was pregnant in May a month after they broke up. Raffaella and Mario dated for over a year but broke up in April this year because of the footballer's alleged affairs with other women. Raffaella herself once dated Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.
Raffaella told reporters that Mario is excited about being a dad and they might reconcile for the sake of their child.

Rihanna Escapes Fire Breakout at London Hotel

LONDON – London Fire Brigade says Rihanna was among 300 people evacuated from a hotel after an early-morning fire in an elevator shaft.

The 24-year-old Barbadian singer tweeted news of the fire early Wednesday to her 21 million Twitter followers, posting a picture of a fire engine and the words: “Roamin da streets since 6am! Fyah in da telly.”

The fire brigade said the alarm was raised at 6:22 a.m. (0522 GMT) and 10 firefighters dealt with the blaze on the 7th floor of the luxury Corinthia Hotel. There were no reports of injuries.

Rihanna performed Sunday at the outdoor Hackney Weekend concert in London.
