GHANAIAN actor, Majid Michel who is presently in Hollywood for the Pan African
Film Festival and the recent Grammys also took some time off to pay his respect
to the late Whitney Houston at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, where pop
legend and actress passed.
Majid joined several fans of Whitney who had gathered to remember the music star, in front of the Hotel.
He
spoke to several Whitney fans and even ended up consoling most of them
in typical Ghanaian fashion, while the location was constantly under
strong media coverage.
Majid
described Whitney Houston as “a legend who would forever be remembered
and loved as a musician, actress and a great person.”
Meanwhile
the body of Whitney Houston arrived in her home state of New Jersey for
a funeral to be held this weekend, according to multiple reports.
The
plane carrying Houston left Los Angeles late Monday and arrived later
at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, a few miles west of Manhattan.
Houston’s
family raised the possibility of holding a wake-up tomorrow and funeral
to be held on Friday at Newark’s Prudential Center.
